How to Get a Girl's Attention

Little tips and tricks that get one girl's attention might turn another girl's attention away, because every girl is different! So if there's a girl whose attention you want, what do you do? The following steps will help you get the attention of any girl whose attention is worth having, no matter how old, young, rich, poor, shy, or friendly she is.

Relax. When you are tense or nervous, you will be more prone to feeling embarrassed if you make some minor mistakes. Staying calm allows you to fully enjoy a girl's company. Be careful not to place all your hopes on a single girl; it will only make it more painful if things don't work out as you would like. Don't let any prior sour experiences prevent you from seeking opportunities that are available to you.

Respect all girls equally. You stand a much better chance of making a good overall impression if you treat girls that don't interest you just as nicely as those that do. This doesn't mean that you need to talk to or flirt with every girl, but don't ignore them or treat them dismissively. Don't talk to a girl about other girls' attractiveness; it's distasteful and can degrade the girl's opinion of herself. You generally shouldn't talk about past relationships you've had, or other girls that interest you; it detracts from building a new relationship.

Exhibit good manners. Girls love guys who are polite and courteous. Refrain from doing or saying things that many people consider offensive, including swearing and making sexist/racist/etc. jokes or comments. Saying things that you know would probably offend some people isn't a good way to make or keep friends. If you act like a gentleman, demonstrating your respect for females and other people in general, girls will be more likely to welcome your company.

Make brief eye contact. Don't stare, and don't avoid eye contact. When your eyes meet hers, hold that contact steadily for a second or two, maybe throw in a grin or a smile if it feels right, and look away and continue with your business. Something as simple as flirty eye contact can show a girl that you're both confident and interested.

Make people laugh. Girls love guys who have a good sense of humor, and the key to having a good sense of humor is to be lighthearted and unabashedly yourself.

Black Country Communion - 2 - Mascot

Black Country Communion have come back with their second album seemingly only a little while after the first but in the meantime they have also managed to continue highly successful individual careersIt isnt difficult to like Dananananakroyd, even their band name has a sense of childish amusement about itIts been a mixed time of late for Avenged Sevenfold. A highly successful album in Nightmare, both critically and commercially. ButThe crowd at Londons Royal Festival Hall got quite a treat on Saturday night as one of the legends of British Blues, Jack Bruce, was joined by the current champion Blues guitarist, Joe Bonamassa. Ben Marwood plays the stunning Crypt Hall on Thursday night, as part of his tour with Frank Turner and Franz Nicolay. Ben is very popular and receptive with the crowd, and gains respect forA classically trained pianist from the age of 6 who studied at the British Academy of New Music in London, Katrina Blue uses her musical talents to blend piano and pop with infusions of soul and jazz to create this catchy track. With echoes of Paloma Faith and Amy Winehouse, Hypnotized uses a nice piano riff to create a summery song that is sure to be popular with fans of female singer songwriters.Connor is the latest young pretender to the urban music throne with this bland track about getting girls phone numbers in clubs. While this fresh faced youth doesnt look old enough to be frequenting said clubs he is actually a 19 year old rapper from East London. His MCing is unfortunately quite weak and his accent makes some of his delivery sound amateurish but this has not deterred hot producers Digital Dog (Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk) from working with him on remixes of this very track.Back with more bass busting sounds of now is Lee Mortimer on this fresh collaboration with latest signings Black Noise. The suitably named Speaker Buster does just that with quaking bass and mental synths that drop hard. Black Noises Bumpin mix turns everything up to eleven and adds a rolling thump that makes the track a touch bouncier but both versions could be played out to crowd pleasing effect.Fearing that this track would be an urban reworking of the Phil Collins classic In the Air Tonight it was a relief to hear an original track with interesting beats from the True Tiger crew. The production is full of fizzySince its inception Lee Mortimers Wearhouse music has been the place to go to for the hottest cuts of electro house excellence. This comp contains 19 Exclusive bangers that form a DJQuite a diverse track list but the cause cannot be knocked. Plenty of uplifting songs to train / run to whilst raising money for a valuable cause that touches all our lives. Coldplay are back with a new single taken from their 5th studio album which is due out later this year (hopefully!!). The track is classic Coldplay, not inIt was with some trepidation that I came to review RiD's first live show in the Capital for a while. Definitely a band that divides opinion, its certainly easy, if one so wished, to cast these girls aLooking every inch the set of well-groomed, well-turned out gentlemen they no doubt are, the ever suave The Miserable Rich treated a sell-out crowd to an hour of their unique brA band to get you through the end times with a message of hope and salvation. Thats Explode The TV describing themselves.Bearded Theory started off as a small gathering and has now grown into a large festival in Derbyshire, dragging in over 2000 people each year. Although it is not aWhile I am completely captured by this album it is really difficult to match it with my memories of his first album - this is so much more the 'artiste'There is a picture on the inside of the cover of Ian Siegal with a hat and a beer, standing in front of a pickup and with a grin on his face and that sums this album exactly a perfect marriage. The Miserable Rich make a big point in their bumph about how they are big John Barry fans, and that this single is something of a tributeOver 75,000 people flocked to Wembley stadium today for Capital FMs Summertime Ball. Even though it was nothing like summer thousands braved the cloudy, drizzly weather to see the likes of JLS, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessie J and Ne-Yo to name a few.How the hell can you treat this seriously? She is dressed on the cover of this album wearing the bottom half of a lion suit, resting on her tail and staring at you as though you are the nutjob.Laura Steel performed at Embassy, Mayfair- London. She performed her first gig since being back from LA working with hit writers and recording parts of her album.Example certainly has gone downhill. Many old fans still cling nostalgically to the halcyon days when Mr. Gleave had the ability to craft witty rap numbers such as I Dont Want To,Cutting to the chase, this song is terrible. Grouplove seems to be trying to channel the indie energy of Smashing Pumpkins but instead create a disaster.Ed Sheeran is getting big. Fusing his acoustic guitar talents with rap and soulful vocals he has already had to expand his sold out UK tour and will, no doubt, secure himselfIt seems as if we are facing an epidemic of alternative/experimental-leaning hip-hop at the moment. Theophilus London ticks all the boxes to potentially be the next Tyler the Creator. To be honest I haven't heard a Paul Simon album since 'Graceland' so I was intrigued how 20 odd years on his sound has changed. So Beautiful or What retains so of the rhythmic sounds found on the groundbreaking album, but has lyrically progressed as Simon takes stock of getting older. The BBC Live Lounge series, initiated by Jo Whiley and continued by Fearne Cotton, has become a staple part of Radio 1's morning schedule. Seeing what track a band covers is always intruiging, and often suprising, as Arctic Monkey's cover of Girls Aloud's 'Love Machine'.Dinah Wants Religions self titled debut is not going to appeal to those who see the mellotron as an instrument of torture:The Chemical Brothers whip up a set that compels every audience member to jump impulsively to their feet and dance like a vintage crazy lady.Of all the comedy groups that have appeared over the years The Lancashire Hotpots are one of the few who havent given themselves over to being serious comics or losing all intentions to amuse altogether. These 2 CDs contain some of the most uplifting R&B club anthems from the past few years. 31 of the 39 tracks are top 10 hits, and all are crossover club classics.Soundgirl are a UK trio of girls ranging from 14 to 17 years old. There debut single 'Don't Know Why' is a 21st Century rework of Carly Simon's classic 'Why'.Glen Matlock is one of the handful of London musicians who have kept playing pretty well constantly and are genuine Faces without needing to take on all the trappingsKamp David have one thing that I will forgive about almost anyone a total lack of shame or humility about their music. They are brash, arrogant, naughty and there are at least four killer singles on the album. The self titled debut album from the Skuzzies is about to / has hit the streets and stores with a smash and clatter that largely resembles their music. The Skuzzies haveThis has been my in-car listening for a week or so, ever since the nice postman decided to deliver it last week.Former Eurythmics man releases first collection of new solo material for more than a decadeFor a band that resent being pigeon-holed by a single-genre, the Sheffield quartet frequently defined as post-rock have allowed guitars to take somewhat of a backseat in favour of euphoric and colossal electronics.Nerina Pallot's fourth album follows some songwriting activity for Kylie, and the linkage to pop is clear here on some of the tracks. Add in Bernard Butler production and the combination really starts to pay dividends. UK Soul legend Beverly Knight is about to release her 7th studio album 'Soul UK' as a celebration of British soul music. Taking classics from the past twenty years or so and adding her stamp to them.Alex Lipinski is a young musician from Weston-Super-Mare, who cites Lennon and Dylan amongst his heroes, though a fair bit of The Kinks can be heard in his songs, too.If a good cast is worth repeating, than a good album is worth a review time and time again.Jenners Field are the first band signed to Eagle Rocks new music arm and they suggest that the label has an eye for the special and talented.Ruby And The Vines aka Binissa Bonner on bass & Vox. Greg Sanders on guitar & Ben Assiter, drums have only been around for a year or soFrom the cover picture of young Matt looking quizzically into the distance and to the John Porter production this album just screams Man at top of his game!.
